Lotus Child Montessori is the absolute best preschool experience I could have dreamed of for both of my children. Before discovering LCM, my oldest had attended two other schools (one closed)—and neither came close to the level of care, learning, and love we’ve experienced here. A friend recommended Lotus, and it truly changed everything for our family.

At LCM, our children have learned so much through play with rotating, high-quality materials. They get to run and explore in a spacious outdoor yard, and they’re gently taught important life skills like emotional regulation, conflict resolution, using manners, and cleaning up after themselves. The staff provides nutritious snacks and, most importantly, comfort, patience and affection—including during nap time when our son needed an extra bit of love. They also help with potty training! Lotus Child Montessori feels like dropping your kids off with family. We are so grateful!

It is with the deepest joy and gratitude that I share our family’s experience with the incredible Lotus Child Montessori. Over the past 10 years, all three of our children have journeyed through this beautiful school—starting in the toddler program, then preschool, and even kindergarten. Now, as our youngest graduates, we’re feeling so emotional about saying goodbye. Honestly, it makes us wish we had a fourth child just so we could start the whole adventure again!

Lotus Child Montessori is truly a gem. The environment is so thoughtfully prepared—beautifully organized classrooms, rich and varied Montessori materials, and a calm, inspiring atmosphere where children thrive. The entire program is rooted in authentic Montessori principles, and that integrity shines through in everything they do.

But what makes LCM truly magical is the people. The teachers are not only Montessori-trained (which is so important!) but also incredibly warm, patient, and passionate. They care deeply—not just about teaching, but about each child as an individual. The level of love, respect, and attention to detail is truly extraordinary. It’s a place where children are seen, supported, and celebrated.

The head of school is a phenomenal leader—brilliant, compassionate, and completely devoted to the well-being of every child and family. Her presence and care are infused into every corner of the school, and you can feel it the moment you walk in.

And the results speak for themselves: all three of our children were excited to go to school. Each one has a very different personality and learning style, and yet LCM managed to meet them exactly where they were, every step of the way. Beyond academics, they’ve gained confidence, empathy, and a deep sense of kindness and order. Even now, our older kids still talk fondly about their time at LCM—and they’ve begged to join the summer program just to go back!

There is nothing quite like watching your child literally jump up and down on a Monday morning, squealing, “It’s a school day! It’s a school day!” That’s the magic of Lotus Child Montessori.
